Glued is the moniker for multimedia designer Alexander Sellas. Born in Nairobi, Kenya and raised in the heart of Africa, he first discovered his love for design after returning to parental homeland Austria. His interest in music as a portal, rapidly led to developing a passion for all things visual - art, film, graphic design and illustration - after which he pursued and set foot in the design profession.

Selected Projects

Information

An installation in collaboration with Bartholomäus Traubeck as part of Subnet's Artists in Residence programme. The installation thematises the relationship between different forms of media and their placement and function in space.

Illustration of a series of 3 consecutive verses from the gospel of Mark (ch.9 v.43-48) in the thematic framework of sin.

A university corporate design project for a ficticious ecological funeral parlour Lifecycle. My aim was to give the company a consoling, peaceful image in comparison to expected negative associations with the loss of dear ones.

A project that visually depicts the cognitive-creative process behind Stefan Sagmeister's bestselling book Things I've learned in my life so far. In collaboration with Lukas Novak.
